In 2013 the Azerigas Production Association (PA) part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), drew up 11,376 acts with regard to violations in the rules of gas usage, according to a message from the SOCAR.
This figure is 1404 less than in 2012, SOCAR said.
Azerigas is engaged in the distribution and sale of gas to customers in Azerbaijan.
In particular the acts were drawn up with regard to 10,878 people, while 498 acts were drawn up for other categories of subscribers, according to the message.
Aside from last year, it was revealed that 18,253 subscribers were illegally using gas.
The official exchange rate on January 23 is 0.7843 AZN/USD.
