Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili met with the Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muiznieks on Jan.24.
The parties discussed the situation in Georgia in the sphere of human rights, the presidential administration of Georgia told Trend. The situation of national minorities, the situation in the justice system, judicial reform, the situation in the occupied regions and in the border villages in terms of human rights was also discussed.
The Georgian president`s advisor for foreign relations, Vano Matchavariani and Permanent Representative of Georgia to the Council of Europe Konstantin Korkelia also participated at the meeting.
