Special Operations Command Central's (SOCCENT) commander MG Michael K. Nagata visited Tajikistan, Avesta.tj reported on Jan. 27.
According to the U.S. embassy in the country, the aim of his visit was to meet with Tajikistan's high level officials and discuss cooperation in the security sphere.
During the discussions the sides stressed the role of SOCCENT in providing stability and security in the Central Asian region.
