The Georgian Ministry of Corrections, Probation and Legal Assistance has been deprived of part of its powers. In accordance with an order of Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, the ministry has been deprived of the function of rendering legal assistance.

In accordance with the prime minister's order, Sozar Subari has been appointed Minister for Corrections and Probation and accordingly has been dismissed from the post of Minister of Corrections, Probation and Legal Assistance.

Additionally, according to other orders, the prime minister dismissed the first deputy and deputies of the Minister of Corrections, Probation and Legal Assistance and appointed them first deputy and deputies of the Minister of Corrections and Probation.

The orders have been issued in accordance with Georgia's law 'On structure, powers and order of activity of the Georgian government'.
