Armenians in Czech Republic meet Serzh Sargsyan with protests

Today a group of Armenians living in Prague protested with signs reading 'We are against the Customs Union', 'Put an end to oligarchy', 'Serjik, go away' outside the residence of the Czech Republic's president where a meeting took place between the Armenian president and his Czech counterpart, Armenia Today reported.

The protesters stressed they gathered to raise their voices due to the problems Armenia faces, namely emigration and unemployment.

Armenians living in the Czech Republic are also concerned with the Armenian president's decision over country's accession to the Customs Union initiated by Russia. They consider that such a decision should have not been taken without asking the Armenian citizens opinions.
