Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and OSCE President Lamberto Zannier discussed the possibility of OSCE field mission's return to the country.

Garibashvili met with Zannier within the 50th Munich Security Conference, press service of Georgian prime minister told Trend on Feb.1.

During the meeting Garibashvili and Zannier talked about the difficult situation in the occupied territories, as well as the number of human rights violation, the facts of construction of artificial barriers.

The strategy of Georgian government on restoration of the trust of breakaway regions' population, the possibilities of implementation of joint projects, as well as the prospects of resumption of OSCE field mission's activity in Georgia were discussed.

Georgian prime minister held a number of bilateral meetings in Munich.

During the meeting with Slovakian Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, Garibashvili discussed the issues of bilateral relations, Euro-Atlantic integration, the association agreement with EU, Georgian-Russian relation and the situation in the breakaway regions.

The importance of the further activisation of economic cooperation between the two countries was emphasized.

The similar issues were discussed during the meetings of Georgian prime minister with Croatian President Ivo Josipovic and Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Dindic.

Irakli Garibashvili also met with the president of the Federation of German Industries Ulrich Grillo and discussed the possibilities of activisation of German business in Georgian market.

Within the Munich conference, Georgian prime minister also met with the president and CEO of the U.S. Atlantic Council Frederick Kempe on Jan.31. Irakli Garibashvili stressed that Georgia steadily follows the course of integration into NATO and the European Union and that this course is the cornerstone of the country's domestic and foreign policy.
The 50th Munich Security Conference is being held from Jan.31 to Feb.2.
