Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov and the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Victoria Nuland have met today during the Munich Security Conference (MSC), Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
The meeting discussed issues of mutual concern, expansion of Azerbaijan-U.S. cooperation in energy sector and situation in the region, according to the ministry.
The parties also discussed the current state of talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict's peaceful settlement.
