The experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), who conducted inspection of the Gachin uranium mine in late January, had full access to the facility and have fulfilled all their tasks, the ITAR-TASS news agency reported, citing a source close to the agency's secretariat.
He said, "There were no problems, I visited all that was needed." He also noted that the inspection's preliminary results have been reported to the IAEA Director General, Yukiya Amano.
"Overall a high evaluation has been given to the inspection," the source concluded.
Earlier the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Ali Akbar Salehi called the inspection constructive.
The provision of access to the Gachin mine that inspectors examined in 2005 is part of the agreement signed by the parties in November, 2013.
The first coordinated package of practical measures was designed for three months and includes inspection of enterprises producing heavy water in Arak.
The agency's experts visited this facility in December, 2013 and also had no troubles with the access.
Plans are for the second package of practical measures to be discussed during the next round of talks between Iran and the IAEA, in Tehran on Feb. 8.
