Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Belgium Didier Reynders, the Georgian Prime Minister's office told Trend today.

The sides discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, according to the information.

They also talked about the prospects of intensifying the trade-economic cooperation between the two countries and the process of Georgia's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic organizations. Particular attention was paid to the success achieved in the field of intensifying the relations with the EU.

The sides appreciated the internal political processes in the country and the trends of forming and developing the democratic institutions.

Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium again stressed support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia and its course towards European integration.
