Salehi advises IAEA to exercise self-restraint

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi on Wednesday advised the International Atomic Energy Agency to exercise self-restraint in a bid to resolve the dispute, IRNA reported.

Speaking to IRNA, Salehi said that Iran is in following the interim nuclear deal with the western governments in good faith and the two parties must prove their commitment to the deal for a six-month period.

Salehi said that the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that the six-month period will serve as a token to see whether the western governments will end hostility with the Iranian people.

He said in the meantime that AEOI has reached a six-point agreement with IAEA on November 11 and will cooperate with the agency to end propaganda.

He advised the IAEA officials to end propaganda against Iranian nuclear program.
