Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs said Iran will dispatch a delegation to Pakistan in coming days to probe the case of five Iranian border guards recently kidnapped by Jeish ol-Adl terrorist group along the Pakistani border in eastern Iran, IRNA reported.

Ali Abdollahi said the members of the terrorist group have crossed the border into Iran and returned to Pakistani soil after kidnapping the Iranian border guards.

He criticized the Pakistani government for failing to control the border, saying Islamabad has to fulfill its commitments under the security agreement between the two countries.

After the incident, the Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the Pakistani ambassador to Tehran calling for an immediate investigation into the case.
