President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today met Prince Albert II of Monaco.
The Prince of Monaco said it is his first visit to Azerbaijan, and recalled his meetings with Ilham Aliyev.
Prince Albert II stressed the importance of the fact that Azerbaijan will host the inaugural European Games in 2015, expressing confidence the tournament will be successfully organized.
President Ilham Aliyev said the visit of the Prince of Monaco is a good opportunity for him to familiarize himself with Azerbaijan.
On the 2015 European Games, the president said that although little time is left for the Games, the preparations are going on successfully.
They discussed ways of developing the relations between Azerbaijan and Monaco.
