Pakistan ambassador to Tehran said Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif is to visit Iran within the next two months, IRNA reported.

Noor Mohammad Jadmani told reporters in Mashad on Tuesday that the premier will make a pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH) in Mashad during his visit to Iran.

He added that the exact date of the visit is not clear yet.

Referring to Pakistanisˈ interest in the city of Mashad and its importance for them, Jadmani said that to this end and because of cultural and religious commonalities between the two countries, cities of Lahore and Mashad have been announced Sister Cities.

Concerning five Iranians border guards who have been kidnapped and transferred to Pakistan, the ambassador said no track of them has been found so far in the border areas.

He added, ˈWe are worried like you and joint border commissions were held last Wednesday and Thursady and it was decided that both sides to have joint patrols to find and release the kidnapped soldiers.ˈ

Jadmani is in Mashad to attend the ceremony to start flight between Pakistani cities and Mashad after seven years.
