The power in Ukraine was seized by pro-fascist youngsters representing the minority of the country's population, Viktor Yanukovych said, RIA Novosti reported on Feb. 28.
He earlier declared his legitimacy as Ukrainian president.
"As you know the power in Ukraine was seized by nationalist, pro-fascist youngsters, representing an absolute minority of Ukraine's population. The only way out from this situation is to fulfill all conditions that were included into the agreement signed by Ukrainian president, opposition and foreign ministers of France, Germany and Poland, as well as the Russian Federation's representative," Yanukovych said at a press conference held in Russian city of Rostov-on-Don.
