The Sumgait Education Information Center held an EducationUSA Alumni Fair with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Baku on March 1, 2014. The main goal of that event was to bring people together to provide useful information about opportunities for studying in the United States, said in the press release of U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan.
Students, pupils and parents met with Azerbaijani and foreign alumni of American universities and asked questions about programs, scholarships, and the application process.
More than 15 universities and other education institutions participated in the fair. Alumni gave information about educational programs and activities of U.S. universities and provided participants with promotional materials and booklets.
Representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan attended the event and spoke to visitors about the universities they attended.
