Iranian parliamentary delegation that was on its way to Latin America, had to change its route, after being prohibited by the U.S. to fly through its airspace, IRIB News reported on March 3.

Following the prohibition, the flight was cancelled, and an alternative route had to be chosen.

IRIB News reported that Iran's delegation has successfully entered Latin America, and has already visited Cuba and Venezuela.

Reportedly, the delegation's tour in Latin American will last for 6 days.

During this time, the head of the delegation, chairman of the parliament's National Security Committee, Alaedin Boroujerdi will discuss the deepening of relations with the Latin America states, as well as issues of mutual interest.
