Director of the IMF's Middle East and Central Asia Department Masood Ahmed will arrive in Georgia on March 7.
He will meet with the Prime Minister and members of the Georgian government, Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri told media on March 6.
"An IMF mission works in Tbilisi," he added. "Masood Ahmed will arrive in Tbilisi. He will meet with the Prime Minister, the representatives of the government and the National Bank. The opportunities of creating new programs will be discussed at the meetings. We are working to work out a successful program. The International Monetary Fund will help us."
