Three people accused of the murder of the prosecutor of the administrative centre of the Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Musa Nuri, were sentenced to death, the Attorney General of the province Ibrahim Hamidi said, the Iranian Mehr news agency reported.
An investigation is continuing in respect of those arrested in connection with murder of the prosecutor, according to the Attorney General.
The prosecutor of the administrative centre Nuri died as a result of an armed attack last November. He and his driver were killed by unidentified persons who stopped the car. Some 13 people were arrested with regard to the case.
