Israel wishes to restore the diplomatic relations with Turkey, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, Turkey's Anadolu agency reported on March 11.
Israel wants the relations between the two countries to return to the level of early 2010, according to Netanyahu.
The relations between the two countries seriously deteriorated after an Israeli special mission unit seized the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara, which was part of the so-called "Freedom Flotilla" moving to the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Nine Turkish activists were killed as a result of the attack.
Israel insists that its servicemen acted in self-defense.
