The main opposition party in Turkey will call for a emergency meeting of the general assembly of the Turkish Parliament over proceedings regarding four former ministers Anadolu Agency reported.

The Republican People's Party -- known by its Turkish initials, CHP -- has collected the necessary 110 signatures to call for the meeting.

The prosecutors have sent a summary of proceedings concerning the four former ministers to the Turkish Parliament after the anti-graft operation that was launched on Dec. 17.
