Tehranˈs Interim Friday Prayer Leader Ayatollah Mohammad- Ali Movahhedi-Kermani on Friday warned against setting up the EU office in Tehran, saying that the Iranian nation will never allow the establishment of another spies house in the country, IRNA reported.
In his second sermon in Tehran University campus, he lashed out at the EU parliament for approving anti-Iran resolution, saying that the Europeans are USˈ mercenaries. ˈIt seems you have no independence and you are acting on whatever you are told.ˈ
It is shameful to say that human rights are not observed in Iran, Movahhedi-Kermani said, noting that when you consider punishment of a murderer a violation of human rights, you mean that everybody is free to do anything without being punished.
The prayer leader also lambasted the demand to allow in Ahmad Shahid, who is an anti- Iran figure expressing the arrogant powersˈ demands, saying that such demands are nefarious and unacceptable.
Of course, Majlis and the government have responded to the futile statements but they are expected to adopt more serious stances, the cleric said.
Movahhedi-Kermani also said that the nation who have offered thousands of martyrs to gain independence as it was stipulated in the Constitution, but they want to interfere in the countriesˈ internal affairs.
The Iranian nation will stand firm on their stances and paid dearly for them, he said.
Obama and Sherman always say that they do not trust Iran, he said, noting that the Iranian nation and government have no confidence in them at all.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Movahhedi-Kermani said that terrorists will fail in Syria, as the Syrian government deals seriously with them.
As for the designation of the current Iran year (started March 21) as the ˈYear of Economy and Cultureˈ, the prayer leader called on three branches of government to seriously follow up the issue to help its materialization.
