Chairman of Iran's Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on April 5 that some critics are using criticism as a cover for enmity.
"Criticisms need to be fair and based on the country's national interest," he explained.
"National unity and of avoiding extremism are the only ways to reach the Islamic revolution's goals," Hashemi said.
"If the officials and people respect each other and try together to improve the situation, no individual, group, or country can hinder Iran's progress," he added.
