German Chancellor Angela Merkel invited Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to pay an official visit, this statement was made at the briefing in the Georgian Prime Minister's office.
"This is Germany's first invitation to the Georgian leaders to visit the country, adviser to Prime Minister for External Affairs David Magradze said.
"The bilateral relations and Georgia's integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic organizations will be discussed during the meeting between Georgian Prime Minister and German Chancellor," he said.
The visit is expected to take place in the first half of June.
