International reserves of the National Bank of Georgia declined by $27 million in March.
The international reserves totalled $2,598.6 million as of March 31, according to preliminary data, the national bank told Trend on April 12.
The bank's international reserves converted into foreign currency stand at $2,376 million as well as the international reserves placed as securities amount to $1,634.4 million and those on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) stand at $741.6 million.
The funds in the special drawing rights (SDR) total $222.6 million, while reserve position in the IMF is $15,500.
Since early 2014 the international reserves of the bank decreased by almost eight percent or by $224.8 million.
