Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani left for Belarus, Iranian news agency İLNA reported on April 16.
The development of bilateral ties between Tehran and Minsk will be discussed as part of the visit, Larijani told the media on April 16 before departure.
"Belarus is Iran's friend," he said. "We are working in many areas. The relations between the parliaments of the two countries are at a good level."
"The visit will take place at the official invitation of the Belarusian parliament," he added.
The development of economic ties will be discussed during the visit.
