Greece refused to extradite a member of Turkish terrorist organization, known as the Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front (DHKP-C) to Turkey, the country's Anadolu news agency reported on April 17.

Turkey appealed to Greece asking to extradite the organization's member, Fevzi Tekin, who was detained in Athens a year ago.

DHKP-C organized explosions in the Reyhanli city of Turkey's Hatay province in 2013, resulting in the 46 people being dead and 155 more injured.

Moreover, about 11 public buildings, 293 apartments, 450 offices of private companies were seriously damaged and around 62 cars became useless as a result of the explosions in Reyhanli, according to Turkish Interior Ministry.

Previously, the members of the terrorist organization committed a terror act at the U.S. embassy in Ankara, resulting in the death of a security officer and injury of one person.
