The aviation agencies of Kazakhstan and Turkey have adopted a decision to increase the number of flights to eight on Antalya -Almaty, Antalya- Astana and Antalya-Karaganda routes, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Transport and Communications said on April 21.

The flights will be regular; they will be carried out in accordance with the approved schedule and the tickets will be freely available, according to the ministry.

"The corresponding decision was adopted by the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan on the results of the monitoring of the Kazakhstan-Turkey tourist traffic market. The monitoring was held by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Transport and Communications, jointly with tour operators, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, Kazakhstan Tourist Association and the Tourism Industry Committee," the ministry said.

"We have repeatedly discussed with our Turkish colleagues the possibility of carrying out flights between the two countries. And taking into account the popularity of these flights among our citizens, there was made a decision to open 16 additional flights per week for the entire summer season of 2014," the chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan's Transport and Communications Ministry, Beken Seidakhmetov said.
