The Georgian government will adopt the strategy for socio-economic development of the country "Georgia 2020" after a nationwide discussion. The decision was made while discussing the strategy at the Economic Council of the country, Georgian speaker's office told Trend on April 23.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili attended the meeting of the Economic Council. The prerequisites for the country's economic growth, as well as obstacles to Georgia's economic growth were discussed during the meeting.
It was stressed at the meeting that the country's economic policy must be based on the protection of economic freedom and property rights.
