Georgian Parliament Speaker David Usupashvili will visit Moldova on April 29. This is his first official visit to Moldova.

During the visit Usupashvili will meet with Moldovian counterpart Igor Corman. A joint briefing will be held following this visit. Usupashvili will also meet with Moldovian President Nicolae Timofti, Prime Minister Yuri Leanca and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman.

The priorities of the European agenda of Moldova and Georgia, as well as the intensification of the cooperation in the field of bilateral relations will be discussed.

The Georgian delegation, which will arrive in Chisinau with Usupashvili includes Vice-Chairman of the Georgian parliament Zviad Dzidziguri, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Tedo Japaridze, chairman of the Committee on European Integration Viktor Dolidze, head of the Georgia - Moldova parliamentary friendship group Makhir Darziev and member of the Georgia - Moldova parliamentary friendship group Giorgi Vashadze.
