Tajik president Emomalii Rahmon and the advisor to the Kuwaiti Emir's administration, Abdullah Matuq Al Matuk met to discuss ways of expanding cooperation between Tajikistan and Kuwait, Avesta.Tj reported on May 2.
The sides expressed readiness to expand bilateral cooperation in such spheres as investment in large projects, transport and energy communications, education, tourism, healthcare, science and engineering.
In particular, the sides discussed the projects like construction of the regional health complex, construction of small and large hotels in Tajikistan's tourist areas, supply of Kuwaiti petroleum products to Tajikistan, attracting Kuwaiti investments for
processing and export of fresh water from Tajikistan to Kuwait, and other issues of mutual interest.
