The Sport Climbing World Cup (Bouldering, Speed) was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on May 3-4, 2014 at the National Flag Square.

On May 3, 2014 the athletes (men and women) competed in the disciplines of speed and bouldering in qualification race and on May 4- in semi-final and final stages.

The competition was attended by 150 sportsmen from 22 countries around the world and competed for the first place in the final stage. The winners were determined at the end of the competition.

The winners were awarded with medals by International Federation of Sport Climbing IFSC and money prize and gifts by Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX).

Official of International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), Graeme Alderson congratulated the athletes and noted that the competition was organized on high level.

First Vise-President of Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX), Firdovsi Aliyev stressed that head of state pays special attention to the development of sport in our country and wished success to the athletes.

It should be noted, that on May 3-4, 2014 in Baku was held Sport Climbing World Cup jointly by Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX) and International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) for the second time.
