In the frames of VII Astana Economic Forum on May 21, 2014 at the Palace of Independence there will be held V International Investment Forum "Astana Invest 2014" (hereinafter - the Forum).
"Astana Invest" Forum is aimed to attract investments to Astana city, involve all participants into the discussion of current issues of city's investment development, as well as to establish international cooperation and to promote "the Astana" image.
The main purpose of the Forum is to demonstrate investment opportunities of Astana and further stimulation of domestic and foreign investment flow to the city's economy.
It is planned to receive about 400 participants from different government agencies, national companies, development and financial institutions, international investment companies and foreign and domestic business-structures.
In addition to the issues of investing potential to the capital of Kazakhstan, there will be discussed inclusion of Astana to the top of "smart cities" and preparation of the city's infrastructure for the International specialized exhibition "EXPO - 2017".
Furthermore, in the frames of Unified industrial-innovative exhibition and during the tour to Industrial park of Astana, for the guests of Forum there will be presented investment-demanding projects of the capital.
Participation in the Forum will give great opportunity for potential investors to learn more about economical, legal and other aspects of doing business in the region, get acquainted with investment projects of Astana, and also negotiate with representatives of official and business circles about regional investment cooperation.
Last forum was attended by roughly 500 participants, as a result, there were signed 10 Memorandums of cooperation with potential investors for the amount of $1,5 bln dollars. Within these Memos specific projects are being realized on the territory of the city.
