Turkish Minister of National Defense Ismet Yilmaz will pay a visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on May 14-15, the head of the press service of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-Colonel Vagif Dergahli told Trend.
Dergahli added that there is a bilateral military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and annually a plan is approved in this sphere.
"The joint Azerbaijani-Turkish field exercises were held in Baku and Nakhchivan on July 2013, and in the Turkish region of Kars on February 2014. Similar events will be held in the future in accordance with the agreed plans," Dergahli said.
