Nine smugglers were executed in the Karoon jail in the Iranian province of Khuzestan on May 12, Iranian news website Asriran reported.

Nine smugglers were executed in the Karoon jail in the Iranian province of Khuzestan on May 12, Iranian news website Asriran reported.

They were accused of selling and keeping about 16 kilograms of various narcotics, including opium and heroin.
