Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has set up a special headquarter for disaster relief in Dariali Gorge.

Special headquarter was headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Alexander Chikaidze, press service of the Government of Georgia told Trend.

The first meeting under the leadership of Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili already passed in Kazbegi.

Irakli Garibashvili gave the appropriate instructions to the ministers after reviewing the situation arising out of the Gorge.

" Alexander Chikaidze was appointed as chief of headquarter, which he will remain in place and will coordinate the work of rehabilitation. We do everything to clear the area from the rubble in maximum time," - Prime Minister said after the meeting.

President of Georgia also joined the meeting. This information was published on the official page of head of state in Facebook.

According to the president of Georgia , in a landslide in Dariali gorge lost 5 or 6 people.

"It is missing a few people. As stated by witnesses, on this site was stood for about 5 or 6 cars. Based on this information, we can assume that 5 or 6 drivers were lost, if we do not take into account their potential passengers. Unfortunately, it is very difficult situation. We must do everything to save life of these people ", president said.
