The number of university entrants in Armenia has dropped by 2,000 in 2014, compared to the figures of last year, according to the Yerevan State University (YSU) Selection Committee's Secretary, Vachagan Galstyan.
He made the remarks at a press conference on May 27, epress.am website reported.
The number of entrants to the YSU itself decreased this year by 400 people.
Galstyan said the number of applicants to the schools of mathematics, computer science, linguistics is satisfactory, while, much less people enter the Russian language, psychology, art, and philosophy schools.
