Kazakhstan and South Korea will sign an agreement on the visa-free regime, Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Volkov said on June 10 at a briefing at the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan.

He said that South Korea's President Park Geun-hye is expected to visit Kazakhstan. During the visit, it is planned to hold high-level meetings, sign bilateral documents and to visit the Nazarbayev University.

"Especially, I would like to draw attention to the agreement between Kazakhstan and South Korea on mutual exchange of visa requirements. We managed to reach this agreement.

Kazakh and South Korean citizens, who hold regular passports, will be able to travel to our countries for up to one month," Volkov said.
