As of May 31, 2014, the international reserves of the National Bank of Georgia, according to preliminary data, amounted to $2.546.9 billion or by $14.6 million less than as of April 30, 2014, the National Bank of Georgia told Trend on June 11.
The National Bank said that the international reserves, converted into foreign currency amounted to $2.324.9 billion, including those placed in securities - $1.703.4 billion, on the accounts of foreign banks and the IMF - $621.4 million.
The funds placed in the SDR amounted to $222 million, while a reserve position in the IMF - $15,400.
The international reserves of the National Bank of Georgia have decreased by $276.5 million since early 2014.
