1,485,374 voters that is 43.31% of the total number of voters have participated in the municipal elections in Georgia.
As stated press speaker Eka Azarashvili at the final briefing in CEC, the presidential elections in 2013 elections were participated 46.6% of voters.
According to the press speaker of the CEC Eka Azarashvili, in Georgian legislation not exist article about quantity of people that should participate in the elections.
"The legislation does not set the percentage of voter turnout and whether there was a question of legitimizing the elections. When there is a certain percentage, it does not matter which were the number of voters and the election is considered valid"- Arazashvili said.
