The Georgian legislative body, which suspended its activity in May in connection with the elections to the local self-government bodies, will continue its work on June 17.

The local elections were held in Georgia on June 15.

"The deputies will gather at the bureau meeting," spokesperson said. "The agenda will be determined and a number of bills will be registered. Afterwards, they will be submitted for consideration."

It is possible to hold the extraordinary meetings up to July 15.

Earlier, Chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili said that if the Parliament decides to hold the extraordinary meetings, according to the Georgian constitution, legislators will have to submit a request to the president.
