The Georgian government is ready to allocate funds for holding the second round of the municipal elections, the country's Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri told reporters on June 18.
"We are ready to allocate funds in order to hold the second round at the high level. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has some reserves and the remaining amount will be allocated from the reserve fund," he stressed.
The CEC said that around five million lari ($1=1.76 lari) is required to hold the second round of the elections that will be held in the second half of July.
