The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has commissioned a filling station in the Rivne region of Ukraine, the company said on June 20.
This is the second premium class station in the Rivne region and eleventh in the Western Ukraine, according to the report.
The petroleum products produced at the advanced refineries in Poland and Lithuania, and complying with Euro-5environmental standard are sold there.
SOCAR network was expanded up to 38 petrol stations in Kiev, Odessa, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Rivne, Cherkasy, Khmelnytsky and Poltava regions after a new station was opened.
SOCAR is the only producer of oil products in the country (it has two refineries on its balance sheet) and also owns petrol stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania, and Switzerland.
