Azerbaijani State Oil Company's (SOCAR) Neftqaztikinti Trust is successfully building an enlarged oil-gathering station at the Oil Rocks offshore field, according to a message from the company.
Construction works for updating the obsolete enlarged separation installations of the Oil Rocks OGPD, as well as, for centralized collection of reservoir waters for prevention of the Caspian Sea's pollution, and for environment's protection through creation of recycling systems consist of the construction of enlarged separation systems (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5 and 5A) and the Central Oil-Gathering Station.
The enlarged separation systems 1A and 2A and the Central Oil-Gathering Station are scheduled to be constructed by late 2014.
The construction and installation works are being carried out by the Construction and Installation Department (CID) #7 of the Neftqaztikinti Trust.
