Bushehr province Governor General Mostafa Salari said on Saturday that based on recent economic agreement inked by Iran and Qatar, export of non-oil commodities to the latter is expected to rise to dlrs 500 million per year, IRNA reported.

Bushehr province Governor General Mostafa Salari said on Saturday that based on recent economic agreement inked by Iran and Qatar, export of non-oil commodities to the latter is expected to rise to dlrs 500 million per year, IRNA reported.

The goods mostly consisting of construction materials and foodstuffs are to be exported to Qatar, he said.

Referring to the recent visit of an Iranian economic delegation to Qatar, he said the two sides agreed to conduct feasibility studies on establishment of joint economic free trade zones in both countries.

Qatar regards Iran as a reliable and permanent source of meeting its economic demands, he said.

Grounds are prepared for export of other commodities to Qatar, he said.
