Anonymous person phoned to the center of operative control of Almaty police department at 14:00 and said that a bomb was placed in the offices of the presidential residence, as well as Habar and KTK TV channels. This fact was confirmed for KazTAG agency by law-enforcement agencies.

Almost all emergency agencies were sent to the site immediately.

Unknown person phoned near railway station Almaty-1 of Turksib region, sources in the law-enforcement agencies said.

Doctors and other emergency agencies operate there. People are being evacuated. "Territory of the building is big. So, operations will take much time," interlocutor said. 

At present, about 100 people have been evacuated. TV channel operates as usually, director of KTK TV channel's own programs, Artur Platonov, said. "Anonymous person said that explosion must occur at 15:00," Platonov said.
