Kazakhstan welcomes signing of 'The protocol on establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenian and Turkish Republics' in Zurich on October 10.
The Kazakh foreign ministry welcomes signing of 'The protocol on establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenian and Turkish Republics', 'The protocol on development of bilateral relations between Armenian and Turkish Republics' in Zurich on October 10, official representative of Kazakh foreign ministry, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, said at a briefing in Astana on October 12.
"We consider this event as break towards establishment of peace, stability and prosperity in South Caucasus. Kazakhstan gives due to political courage and views of Armenian and Turkish leaders proceeding from high interests of their people," Ashikbayev said.
Ashikbayev said that Kazakhstan highly appreciates activity of the international mediators, especially, OSCE Minsk Group, heads of Russian, U.S and French foreign ministries. As a result, reconciliation between Turkey and Armenia resumed.
"Kazakhstan will fully promote strengthening and development of achieved agreements as next OSCE chairman," representative of Kazakh foreign ministry said.
