Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri will pay a working visit to Astana in late March, Georgia's Ambassador to Kazakhstan Pata Kalandadze told Trend .
"Preliminary the Prime Minister's working visit is scheduled for late March of 2010," he said.
He said the Kazakh-Georgian intergovernmental trade and economic cooperation commission is expected to hold its next meeting during the minister's visit. The sides also may conduct a business-forum with participation of representatives of the business - structures of both sides.
"The meetings to be held under the framework of Gilauri's Astana visit, will discuss the issues concerning the existing projects, as well as perspective, including transit of the Kazakh grain through Georgia to Egypt," he added.
Egypt might be interested in Georgia's transit possibilities, Gilauri said earlier.
"Georgia's transit potential should be interesting for Kazakhstan and Egypt, which have actively trading in grain," the Georgian Prime Minister said during his Egypt visit in January 2010.
Previously JSC Kazagro Board Chairman Asiljan Mamitbekov said that Kazakhstan intends to suplly1.5 million tons of grain to Egypt in 2010. Deliveries will be carried out within the agreement between Kazakhstan JSC NC "Food Contract Corporation" and the Egyptian Venus International.
