Time proved that we chose right path - Kazakh president

The time elapsed since the Constitution adoption demonstrated that Kazakhstan has chosen the right path to development. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it at the opening of the fourth session of the fourth convocation of the Parliament today, Kazinform reported.

"We marked the state national holiday on August 30 - the 15th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Constitution. Owing to Constitution adoption Kazakhstan entered a new phase of development and became known to the world with its creative achievements. The time proved that we have chosen the right path", the President said.

He reminded that this year Kazakhstan first among the CIS states became the chair-country of the OSCE and Astana will hold the OSCE Summit.

The Head of the State noted that Kazakhstan's economy develops dynamically and the country successfully entered a phase of the post-crisis development.

45 Senators out of 47 and 106 Majilismen out of 107 participate in the joint session of the Parliament Houses. The Kazakh Prime Minister, Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs, heads of the President's Administration, chairmen of the Supreme Court and Constitutional Council, heads of ministries and departments and state bodies attend it.
