"The victory of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party at the elections to the Majilis is a victory of all people", - Chairman of the Party, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced during visiting the national pre-election campaign office in Nur Otan headquarters, KazInform reported.
"Today is a great day of joy! Just now we have heard the exit poll results - our Party won with convincing results. It demonstrates that our program, our work were supported by the people. They understand us, they are with us, and they continue to trust us. Now we should implement our program "Kazakhstan-2017," do our best for better life of all our people, economic growth and strengthening our independence. It was unprecedented elections," - Nazarbayev said.
The President emphasized that more than one thousand observers monitored the elections, and they confirm that the elections were fair and transparent. The elections results showed one more time that Kazakhstan dynamically progresses on the way of democratic development.
"Our citizens voted for stability, peace, tolerance, friendship of our multinational people," the President said.
The elections to Majilis and maslikhats have been held today in Kazakhstan.
The Nur Otan national-democratic party, Adilet, Kazakhstan Patriots' Party, Nationwide social-democratic party, Ak Zhol, Communist People's Party of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh Social Democratic Party Auyl were taking part in the elections.
