Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev ordered Deputy Prime Minister Erbol Orynbayev to elaborate the changes in the migration legislation of the country during the expanded governmental meeting.
"The government should make changes to the migration legislation," the president said. "It is important to introduce incentives for optimal settling of the population and radically deal with oralmans (returnee)."
Oralmans are ethnic repatriated Kazakhs, resettled to Kazakhstan from neighboring countries.
